Joining Kinderoos
The first days
We want your child to feel happy and safe with us.
To make sure that this is the case, the staff will work
with you to decide on how to help your child to settle
into Kinderoos. We have a policy about helping children
to settle into Kinderoos, we will go through it with you
at point of registration.
Teeth
The children will receive a regular check up from the
local dentist as a part of our healthy children policy.
Please provide a toothbrush for your child.
Clothing
Please ensure all clothing is clearly labelled.
Although we provide protective clothing for the children
when taking part in messy play, we request that you provide
a change of clothes.
To help keep Kinderoos a clean and hygienic environment
for the children we request that parents provide plimsolls
or slippers for the children to wear indoors. Staff also,
wear indoor footwear as we do not permit shoes beyond the
entrance area at Kinderoos.
We encourage children to gain the skills that help them
to be independent and look after themselves. These include
taking themselves to the toilet and taking off and putting
on outdoor clothes. Clothing that is easy for them to
manage will help them to do this.
Laundry Service
We provide a laundry service for our children. You will
no longer need to worry about dealing with their dirty
nursery clothes. We will return them to you clean and dry.
Potty Training
At Kinderoos we will be happy to help and support you to
potty train your child. The key person will meet with you
so that you can discuss the best way to maintain a consistent
approach that will ensure success. It is especially important
during this time to ensure your child is wearing clothing that
is easy to pull down/remove.
Nappies and Wipes
Nappies and wipes are provided as a part of our all inclusive service.
