Baby Roos (6-24m)
A safe and happy place for your baby to thrive and grow

EYFS 6 - 24m
We all know that during the first couple of years of a child’s life they make immense progress in development constantly absorbing everything they experience.
Under normal circumstances we use opportunities in the day for our babies to be exposed to toddlers and pre-school children. This is so they can be exposed to older children and learn some independence by example. Usually during meal times and activities like Rhyme time.
At 18 mths we will review to see if any of our children can experience some of their learning with the toddler group. Although they will remain in the ratio of 1:3 until they reach 2 years of age.
Below are a list of the few things your child’s key person will focus on:
- Communication through gestures and words
- Building relationship with key persons
- Physical agility
- Developing some independence
- Showing an interest in toys and books
- Number through rhyme and counting
